Trinity defeated Boyd County 12-0 to secure the program's second consecutive state title and third championship in the last six seasons (2021, 2025, 2026).
Seniors Grayson Willoughby, Konnor Stargel, and Harper Haywood were named to the All-Tournament team, with Willoughby earning MVP honors.
The Rocks finished (41-3), went "wire-to-wire" ranked #1 in KY, and extended their winning streak against in-state opponents to 50 games.

Trinity (37-3), the reigning state champs, will face Bullitt East (23-11, 6th Region Champ) next Friday, June 5, at 5pm at Legends Field in Lexington in the KHSAA State Tournament First Round as they seek back-to-back state titles.

Wednesday, May 13, the Trinity Class of 2026 gathered one final time in Steinhauser Gym for Baccalaureate Mass. This significant event during Graduation Week reinforces our mission of forming these young men as Men of Faith. Friday, May 15, the Class of 2026 will graduate from Trinity as Brothers. Trinity’s Class of 2026 Graduation Week is officially underway with Senior Breakfast. This breakfast marks the Class of 2026’s official welcome into the Trinity Alumni Association – now more than 18,000 strong!
As we continue celebrating the Class of 2026 throughout their Graduation Week with the Senior Awards Ceremony, we want to recognize those students who were selected as Big Four recipients!

The Steven Tompkins ‘81 Legacy Award is presented to the Trinity Senior Student Athlete who best demonstrates faith, character, and appreciation for Trinity, a commitment to teammates before himself, and a positive outlook on life. Whether it was quoting movie lines or song lyrics, Steven could make people laugh and brighten someone's day in an instant. He was a man of great faith who lived his faith daily. He served as the school's first Sports Ministry Director. He instilled a sense of integrity and honor, both as Head Golf and Baseball Coach and through his work as a multi-sport official. He was loyal to his family and friends. He bled green and served the Trinity community faithfully.
