The Speech Rocks competed in the Derby Regional tournament on Saturday, Feb. 1.
All four Rocks earned bids to the state competition in March.

A group of fifteen Rocks recently volunteered their time serving as judges at the St. Francis of Assisi Science Fair. Thanks for proudly representing Trinity and having a positive impact on our Catholic community. Go Rocks!


Trinity will have a $1 Dress Down Day on Friday, February 7, benefitting the Molly Johnson foundation. The Molly Johnson Foundation assists children with special needs and their families. Because the Super Bowl is Sunday, Feb. 9, in addition to wearing Trinity or college gear for seniors, students can wear their favorite jersey. Basketball and other sleeveless jerseys must have a t-shirt under it. Dress down for a $1 or more.

Today is National Freedom Day, commemorating the signing by Abraham Lincoln of a resolution that became the 13th amendment, which abolished slavery, to the U.S. Constitution.

Thursday, January 23, will be a $1 Dress Down Day benefitting Catholic Charities to help with the wildfires in Las Angeles. The fire has claimed the lives of 27 people, burned more than 12,000 structures, and charred more than 60 square miles. High winds and dry conditions have made the fire difficult for crews to contain. Students can dress down for $1, or more, in a Trinity shirt/jacket/hoodie, jeans/khakis, and athletic/dress shoes. Seniors can wear clothing from the college they are attending next year. Money will be collected during advising by House Captains.

Kentucky Driving School will be on campus the week of January 27-31, Mon.-Thurs. 3-5 and Fri. 2-4. It will be in G111 in Steinhauser Gym. YOU MUST HAVE A PERMIT IN ORDER TO TAKE THE CLASS!

Option 1: Students will participate in 10 hours of classroom instruction. Also included will be 4 hours behind the wheel, 2-2 hour private sessions with pick up and drop off at Trinity. (Note: The driving lessons are scheduled throughout the session, depending on whether or not the student already has his/her permit.) This course normally meets the requirements made by insurance companies for an auto insurance reduction.
Fee: $350.00
Option 2: Student will participate in 10 hours of classroom instruction. (No road instruction is included with this option) You will need to check with your insurance company to see if this course meets their requirements for an auto insurance reduction.
Fee: $50.00


Wrapped in God's Warmth is a charity started by a current Mercy senior who makes and distributes care packages those in need. Kentucky Refugee Ministries is an organization that helps to place refugees to our area. Trinity will be hosting a drive for both agencies until January 24. Wrapped in God's Warmth collects blankets, scarves, hats, gloves, shelf stable snacks, bottled water, and flashlights. Items can be new or gently used. These are assembled into care packages and passed out to those in need. Kentucky Refugee Ministries is hosting a coat drive of new and gently used coats of all sizes and warmth. These will be given to refugee families arriving in Louisville. Donations can be dropped off at the rotunda or outside T215.

The 13th Annual Trinity Alumni Retreat will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8th at Trinity in Convocation Hall. This retreat is an extension of the Fourth Day Christian Awakening (Senior) Retreat. It's an opportunity for alumni to slow down from their busy schedules, hear gifted speakers, and simply sit with God in prayer. Join us and reconnect with your faith life and your Trinity Brotherhood.
